Timber framing
Green Life Construction & Restoration prides itself on mastering the energy and resource efficient construction technique of timber framing. Timber framing and ‘post-and-beam’ construction are traditional methods of building that use heavy timbers as load-bearing structural components of the homes as well as decorative elements. The timber is left exposed on the walls and roofing system which provides a unique aesthetic for our homes.
Locally sourced
We also source our building material from local businesses. The natural stone is from Marion, NC, the white pine timber is from Watauga county, the windows and lumber are from Boone, NC. We use these materials in our homes to showcase the natural beauty of the area. We also support local businesses and people that make this community so special.
